Float fishing is

Aventa center pin sets a new standard for what can be expected in a fully
machined float reel.
The Aventa series
is made from solid aluminum bar stock, and is offered in both west coast
and east coast styles. The VT1000 features the traditional center pin
design, with a bronze bushing. The VT1002 with two stainless steel ball
bearings is the reel of choice for the east coast. Both models available
for a fraction of the cost of the typical float reels. Both precision
reels are excellent for casting directly from the reel or for drag free
