Wave Off Urban Fishing Spinning Reel (Limited Edition)-4000H
WO-4000H-LTD
Wave Off Spinning Reel This unique and extraordinary reel was designed by Okuma’s urban design team named Wave Off. Wave Off was created in 2017; its mission is to ”Defy the Boundary Where Tide Meets Street,” which brings together the worlds of fishing and urban culture. Graffiti inspired the reel’s trademarked Paint Off™ paint that will wear away over time, highlighting an unexpected element of surprise to showcase the reel’s underlying colors. The intent is for anglers to get out, use the reel, and let the Paint Off™ paint wear away naturally. Underneath the carbon gray exterior lies a vibrant and iridescent undercoating waiting to be exposed. The contrast is a testament to the passion and life bustling beneath a seemingly monotone industrial urban landscape. Whether it be an individual’s style or the precious and seemingly hidden ecosystems in our urban waterways, these elements flourish within our cities. These reels are already limited edition, but over time each angler’s reel will showcase his or her unique pattern of where the paint is worn off—leaving a mark of each angler’s unique style, attitude, and passion for the sport. #WaveOff, Urban Fishing Revealed
